Alice Pereira to Become UFC’s Youngest Female Fighter

Pereira Set to Make UFC History as Youngest Woman Fighter

Brazil’s Alice Pereira is poised to become the youngest woman to fight in UFC history when she steps into the octagon this Saturday at UFC Noche in San Antonio, Texas.

The rising star, nicknamed the ‘Golden Girl’, will be 19 years, 8 months, and 24 days old, surpassing the previous record held by South Korea’s Chan Mi Jeon, who debuted in 2017 at 19 years, 9 months, and 13 days.

Pereira: “It Felt Great My Prediction Became True”

Speaking to MMA Fighting, Pereira shared her vision and pride in reaching this milestone:

“That was the intention. I had that ambition from the start, the dream of being the youngest girl,”

“From the moment I realised the UFC wasn’t such a distant dream, I started to get ambitious. I set out goals, and one of the goals was to be the youngest girl in the UFC.”

Pereira’s Rise: 6-0 Record & UFC Contract

Pereira signed with the UFC in December after starting her professional MMA career with six consecutive victories.

She faces a tough test in Montserrat Rendon, a 36-year-old Mexican bantamweight who has a 1-1 UFC record since her debut in 2023.

Despite the 17-year age gap, Pereira remains focused and confident.

Historic Context in UFC Records
