Ruben Amorim: “My Decision Not to Make More Signings in January”

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has revealed it was his decision to take the “risk” of not signing additional players in the January transfer window.

Despite speculation about attacking reinforcements, United only completed two signings:

Patrick Dorgu (20, LB) – Lecce
Ayden Heaven (18, CB) – Arsenal

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford and Antony left on loan deals to Aston Villa and Real Betis, respectively.

Amorim Defends Transfer Strategy

Amorim on United’s Approach:

“We are taking a risk, but we want different profiles in the team. It was my decision.”

“Everybody here does not want to make the same mistakes of the past. We are being careful with transfers.”

Why No Attackers Were Signed?
United tried to strengthen but failed to secure deals.
Focus is on long-term squad planning rather than rushed signings.
