Paris Saint-Germain secured their sixth trophy of 2025 by beating Flamengo 2-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the Intercontinental Cup final held in Qatar. The hero of the night was new signing Matvey Safonov, who produced an astonishing performance in the shootout, saving four consecutive penalties.
