Tottenham Monitor Solomon Stranded in Israel After Wedding

Spurs in Touch with Stranded Israel Winger Solomon

Tottenham Hotspur are maintaining close contact with Manor Solomon, after the Israeli winger was left stranded in his homeland due to escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.

The 25-year-old winger, who recently married long-time partner Dana Voshina last Thursday, is unable to leave Israel after civilian airspace was shut down following last week’s aerial attacks.

A Tottenham spokesperson confirmed:

“We are constantly in regular dialogue with all our players regarding their wellbeing and welfare.”

Honeymoon Halted by Airspace Closure

Solomon’s wedding came just one day before Israel’s retaliatory strikes on Iranian nuclear and military targets. With both countries trading airborne attacks, commercial flights in and out of Israel were grounded for safety.

From Injury to Impact at Leeds

Solomon, who joined Tottenham in 2023 from Shakhtar Donetsk, made only six appearances before suffering a season-ending knee injury. He was loaned to Leeds United in 2024, where he rediscovered form—scoring 10 goals in 39 Championship games, helping the club win promotion back to the Premier League.

He is due to rejoin Spurs for pre-season training in early July, pending travel safety and clearance.
