Ryder Cup 2027 ticket prices hit record in Ireland

Record ticket prices set for Ryder Cup in Ireland

Organisers of the Ryder Cup have defended record-breaking ticket prices for the 2027 edition in Ireland, as costs rise significantly compared to previous European-hosted events.

Daily general admission tickets for the tournament days (17–19 September) at Adare Manor will cost €499 (£434) — almost double the €260 maximum price seen at the 2023 event in Rome.

Higher than Europe, but below USA pricing

Despite the increase, organisers highlighted that prices remain lower than the most recent US-hosted edition at Bethpage Black Course, where tickets reached $750 (£555).

Richard Atkinson of the European Tour Group acknowledged the rise but pointed to global economic changes and the tournament’s growing scale:

“We acknowledge it’s an increase from Rome… This event has grown in stature and profile.”

  • Large screens on every hole
  • Full-day entertainment starting from early morning
  • Expanded off-course activities

The event is expected to attract up to 250,000 spectators across the week.

  • Global ballot opens: 3 June
